Seaside Paradise

We designed our garden to attract local wildlife and provide our guests with the conditions to enjoy nature and take beautiful photos, starting right away from your balcony :) Guests have a free access for all the 3 hectares land :) 

Hummingbird garden: we planted a variety of plants with different flower shapes that attract different hummingbirds; so far we documented 12 hummingbird species, including the rare White-crested Coquette and the endemic Mangrove Hummingbird. 

Ponds for aquatic wildlife: We prepared a couple of ponds that attract a variety aquatic wildlife, and in some nights, especially after heavy rains, you can enjoy a concert of many frogs who visit the ponds to mate and lay eggs. 

Bird feeder: We have a bird feeder right in front of the balcony of Casa Bromelia, where you can enjoy the sight of different colorful birds at the morning, even from your bed :) 

Organic fruits: We have a variety of organic fruits in the garden: Anona, Banana (5 types), Cashew, Coconut, Guama fruit, Guanabana, Guava, Limon (3 types), Malay apple, Mandarine, Mango, Orange, Papaya, Pineapple, Rambutan and Sapote (different fruits are available at different months). Our guests are welcome to explore the garden and enjoy the organic fruits :)

Space for both people & wildlife: We are doing our best to form the 3 hectares land of Eden Corcovado into a paradise for both people and wildlife: we dedicate 30% of the land for reforestation to restore the rainforest and fill the gardens with plants that attract local wildlife.
